Pole Snap Bean, Kew Blue (Organic)

Phaseolus vulgaris. Flat Purple Pods. 

Vibrant purple pods, stems, and leaves. Semi-flat beans with incredible raw taste. Flourishes in cool, damp conditions and sprouts easily in the chilly early spring soil. Early and consistent pod growth along the vines. Seeds dry quickly before the arrival of rain. As one of our top-producing pole beans, it was a staple for us as fresh market farmers. Originating from the Kew Royal Botanic Gardens, Adaptive Seeds acquired this variety in 2007 from the Heritage Seed Library in England.
