We are of a generation that still had general stores and full service feed and hardware stores – the floor creaked when you walked in and where I grew up, our (only) hardware store had a thwapping screen door. When we created Urban Ag Supply we wanted to enliven the feeling we remembered from those stores. They were far from “big box”. Service was still foremost. Shopkeepers understood the needs of specific shoppers. They knew our families. They knew our dogs. We aspire to that level of care, concern, and collaboration with our customers.

Our mission is providing access to materials approved for USDA Organic, regenerative, sustainable, and urban agriculture. We source products as locally as we can – some items just aren’t available in Oregon but are important to the work of farmers and gardeners. We seek out local artisans who create garden themed gifts, natural skin care items, and eco sensitive household products. We consider our business subject to a triple bottom line: financially stable, socially just, and environmentally vigilant.
