Adaptive Seeds embarked on their first attempt at breeding lettuce, producing this amazing ultra-red leaf. Though there were some initial challenges, they persevered and over the years have perfected Red Evolution - and they love it even more than its predecessor, Revolution. With a taller and less frilly appearance, this variety maintains the deep red color that made Red Revolution so popular. Its rich, dark red pigment and strong genetic lineage also make it highly resistant to disease, including downy mildew. You'll especially enjoy using it in salad mixes for the stunning color contrast it provides. And for the best taste, be sure to grow it in cool weather and harvest it when young.
