The Rhaphidophora decursiva – (Creeping Philodendron), is a fast-growing, vining plant that makes a great addition to any indoor space. Its smooth, glossy green leaves provide a tropical feel to any space and will have white flowers when the growing conditions are ideal.
The Creeping Philodendron is native to tropical areas of Southeast Asia. A tropical climber, when its leaves first emerge they are solid and lush glossy green but over time the leaves form deeply lobed slits. It can be easily mistaken for Split Leaf Philodendron.
Rhaphidophora decursiva – (Creeping Philodendron) is known for its lush, green leaves it will thrive in bright indirect sunlight but can tolerate low light conditions. As a houseplant, it can grow from 2 to 5 feet, consider using a moss pole or trellis to support its verticle profile.
Place the plant in an area with bright indirect light
Water the plant when the top of the soil is dry to the touch but do not over water
Fertilize the plant monthly during the growing season
Prune the plant as needed to control its growth
